Yes folks, it's all true! We've just featured on ABC's pretigious news show Nightline!

The piece is called Attack of the Superlice and deals with emergence of the so called "Superlice" - lice that have built up resistence to many available treatments. The problem is that highly toxic treatments are over used and the lice have built up immunity, just like many other bugs have become resistent to antibiotics.

And this just in from our San Francisco salon?

One of our kids wasn't concerned about how many nits or bugs she had, but she was really worried that she couldn't finish her movie, "The Parent Trap" on time!

Our Hair Fairies technician was also watching the movie while combing her out, and the word is they'll be for sure finishing the movie together on the second treatment visit  :-)  You gotta love the Parent Trap! who doesn't ?!

In our LA Hair Fairies salon, we recently had a teenage client who completely forbade her mom to give us her real name! So it comes time for the client's head lice treatment, and our technician asks, "so, um, what would you like us to call you?" And the girl thinks and then says "Carmen!"

Hair Fairies technician: "Really? Wow! That's totally my name too!

Girl: "No way?"

Technician (laughing): "No, not really, my name is Nancy but I thought it be cool to change my name too!"

The girl sits for treatment, and after about 45 minutes of conversation she reveals to Nancy her real name??

Quite often kids have such a good time at Hair Fairies, that they ask Mom if they can hold their birthday parties in a salon. Party on!
