Our Colleague Josephine has a new puppy and his name is Snuffles! Kids loved him when he was around for just a half day at our Head Lice Salon. Pets give us so much joy and relief sometimes when we are dealing with stressful (lice) situations where we have no control. Snuffles is an example where he had put our younger clients at ease. We wonder how exciting it would be if all our Hair Fairies lice salons in Los Angeles, San Diego, New York, Chicago, and Connecticut could have a pet like Snuffles around. Life would be more less stressful! Our little friend would ward off the stress of dealing with lice.


Pets and animals in general cannot get the human form of head lice. The Head Lice that we treat at Hair Fairies-The Head Lice Helpers only pertains to the scalp and hair on a human head. We have lots of fairy artworks and pieces at each one of our head lice removal salon locations nationwide.  We do this to help ease children and families alike.  Coming in and meeting us should be a pleasant experience overall.  If you think you have any fairy items that you would help finesse our hair fairies décor, please bring it in for a little show and tell! The process of killing lice sounds like pretty unpleasant experience, but we go out of our way to make it fun as well as effective.

Lena, our colleague at our Hair Fairies San Francisco lice treatment salon, went to Hawaii and had presented us with these when she came back!  We are happy for the kisses, utterly excited for the macadamia madness, and super stoked to hear she had lots fun with her partner.  Lena came back just this week and we missed her absence!  We are a real team here at Hair Fairies.  So when one of us leaves we feel their absence...in a good way.  The lice probably do too!  Heehee

"Can we go back to Hair Fairies, Mom?,"  a kid asked his mother upon finishing treatment for Head Lice.  It's quite humbling and endearing to have our clients come out of this whole head lice removal experience: better educated, equipped with the true facts about head lice AND cured of their seemingly insurmountable problem. The child's mother also told us that her son didn't want to leave Hair Fairies. Apparently our toys, movies, snacks and service kept him more than content even though he was there to have lice removed.  The kid also enjoyed the different interactions with our Hair Fairies lice technicians.  His mom actually told us that they usually pass by Hair Fairies San Francisco lice treatment salon on their way to school in the morning and her son felt sad they weren't really coming into Hair Fairies for a visit. This leads me to our famous last words:  We really enjoyed getting to know you and hopefully you will never see us again...smiles :I

Our Lovely Hair Fairy technician- Josephine brought in these cute toys for the kids to play with while we treat and or check them for head lice!  There’s a Buzz Light Year- MR. Potato Head from Disney’s Toy Story, brain Quest Game, and an all in one Doctor’s Kit toy set for kids to play doctor!  There’s also another stuffed Buzz Light year doll!

It was great to see a familiar face coming into our establishment today!  An old Colleague of mine, Jenna AKA Chris, stopped by Hair Fairies San Francisco lice treatment salon to say hello and also gave us all warm hugs.  We cherish our employees and it is always nice to have them visit us once in awhile and just to catch up. And we were inwardly happy that she was just stopping by to say ‘hi’ rather than to enjoy our lice removal services!  We can say that all of the Hair Fairies who had worked with us before had a nice experience and time here. Apps or Application programs for mobile devices have been becoming popular these days.  Here at Hair Fairies Salon-San Francisco, it came to our notice that there are apps for Head Lice!  And yes, not just one app, but two, and not just two, but three of them!  This information stemmed from our clients who had mentioned to us that there are Lice Apps on the iPhone that give out head lice information. 

 

I did some research of my own and load and behold…..there are currently three apps!  The first app is an actual game where it looks like you can plant lice on any photo that you post.  The other two were information programs for Head lice and Bed Bugs.  Check them out if you’re curious and interested!  The only disclaimer is only view them for your pleasure.  If you have any real questions and concerns, please call us!
